    Headhunting

    What is headhunting, really?

Headhunting is the active pursuit of people who are not looking for a job. A headhunting firm maps the market, identifies the operators and studios where top performers already work, then approaches them directly with a specific opportunity. It is the opposite of posting a role and waiting.

For senior iGaming roles, customer support team leads and Human Resources specialists, headhunting is often the only way to reach the talent that actually moves the needle. The best hires are usually employed, busy and happy.

A good job consultancy knows how to get their attention without burning bridges. That means a real reason to call, a clear pitch, and discretion. No mass messages, no scripts, no pressure.

Done well, headhunting feels like an introduction between two parties who would have wanted to meet anyway. Done badly, it looks like spam. The difference is research.
