    Why reviews matter in recruitment

When a company hires a recruitment agency, they are handing over a piece of their future team. Reviews are the closest thing to a reference check on the agency itself. They show how the firm behaves under pressure, how it communicates when a placement goes sideways and whether it actually delivers on the brief or just fills seats.

Good reviews tend to mention specifics. Response times, quality of the shortlist, honesty about candidates who were not quite right, follow-up after the hire started. Vague praise is easy to fake. Detail is not. The same is true on the candidate side, where reviews reveal whether the agency treats people with respect during the process or burns through them like leads.

For iGaming operators, studios and customer support teams, working with a vetted placement agency with a real review trail removes a lot of the guesswork. At Selecta we ask every client and candidate for honest feedback, good or bad, because it keeps us sharp and gives the next person a real signal before they sign anything.
